Unveiling Ceremony and Symposium of “Intellectual Property Dispute Mediation Center of Anhui Zhong Tianheng Law Firm” was grandly held. 

Anhui Zhong Tianheng Law Firm was granted the patent agency qualification and the trademark agency qualification by the State Intellectual Property Office and the National Trademark Office respectively in 2005. In 2018, as the only provincial law firm, it was selected as one of “the first batch of intellectual property service brand institutions” in Anhui Province. And it has become the head of the law firm of Anhui Province as the integration of legal service, patent agency and trademark agency.

At 9:00 am on December 30, 2019, the unveiling ceremony and symposium of the “Intellectual Property Dispute Mediation Center of Anhui Zhong Tianheng Law Firm” was held in the conference room of Zhong Tianheng. Institutions participating in this unveiling ceremony and forum include: Anhui Provincial Justice Department, Anhui Provincial Intellectual Property Office, and Anhui Higher People's Court. Also invited to participate in the event are the China Reform News Anhui Reporter Station, the Legal Daily Anhui Reporter Station, Xinhua News Agency Anhui Branch and other news units.

The unveiling ceremony was jointly held by Hu Kongsheng, deputy director of the Department of Justice of Anhui Province, and Zhu Shijia, the director of Anhui Zhong Tianheng Law Firm. At the meeting, Director Zhu gave a comprehensive introduction to the establishment and operation plan of the Intellectual Property Dispute Mediation Center. He pointed out that the main business scope of the mediation center is to providing legal aid in the field of intellectual property, to coordinating and resolving conflicts and disputes in the field of intellectual property, to strengthening research on conflicts and disputes in the field of intellectual property, to providing advice for government decisions and to assisting the government Relevant departments carry out judicial mediation in the intellectual property industry. The scope of the center’s acceptance is intellectual property dispute cases within the province, focusing on the mediation of major difficult or influential intellectual property dispute cases.

In the future, all intellectual property dispute mediation agreements reached by the center will have the legal effect of applying to the people's court for enforcement.

At the meeting, representatives of Zhong Tianheng Law Firm, Mr. Zhu Yajuan, Mr. Wang Yang, and Mr. Fang Changfu have discussed the operation, precautions, and development direction of the mediation center.

Then, the leaders of Anhui Provincial Justice Department, Provincial Intellectual Property Office, and the Provincial High People's Court, and the leaders of the business departments made instructional speeches. Hu Kongsheng, deputy director of the Provincial Justice Department, Hu Wangde, director of the lawyer's work management department, and Provincial Intellectual Property Office Mr. Li Li, Mr. Zheng Hongying, and Mr. Lu Yi, the judge of the first case of the Provincial High People's Court, stated that they would strongly support the mediation center, and hoped that Zhong Tianheng Law Firm would strengthen the standardized management of the mediation center, as well as that the center will establish sound rules and regulations and achieve standardized operations.

In the end, Director Zhu stated that the firm will continue to adhere to the concept of innovation and development, adhere to standardized management and operations, consolidate the firm's efforts to successfully run the center, and submit a qualified answer sheet to the competent authorities with good work performance.
